Product Overview
Sisal is a strong, durable natural fibre extracted from the leaves of the Agave sisalana plant. Our fibre is decorticated, washed, sun-dried and machine-brushed to remove dust and short strands, giving a clean product with good lustre and tensile strength. Grading follows the recognised East African standards, so buyers receive consistent length and quality on every shipment.
Because sisal is renewable and biodegradable, demand keeps growing across construction, agriculture and interior design. We can supply single trial containers or contract volumes to an agreed grade and bale specification.

Applications
Sisal fibre is used to make ropes, twines and cordage, agricultural baler twine, sacks and matting. It is increasingly used in geotextiles for erosion control, in reinforced plastics and composites, in buffing cloth, and in rugs, carpets and eco-friendly decor. By-product tow is used in paper and mattress padding.
Packaging & Loading
Sisal is compressed into pressed bales, wrapped and strapped for container loading. Bale weights are agreed per order and a 20ft container typically holds a full commercial load. Each bale is labelled with grade and lot information for easy handling at destination.
Quality & Compliance
Every lot is graded and inspected for length, cleanliness, colour and moisture before baling. We provide a certificate of origin and phytosanitary certificate where required, and third-party inspection can be arranged so buyers confirm grade and weight prior to shipment.
Export Markets
We export sisal fibre to buyers in Asia, Europe, the UAE and across Africa, shipping through the ports of Mombasa and Dar es Salaam. Trial orders and long-term supply contracts are both welcome.

Sourcing & Quality Assurance
Behind every shipment is a sourcing network built over years of working with farmers, cooperatives and processors across the region. We select each lot for condition and consistency, then clean, grade and condition it to the standard your market expects. Because we follow the crop from field to port, we can hold quality steady across repeat orders and give buyers the confidence to plan their own production with certainty.
Food safety and traceability sit at the centre of how we operate. Consignments are prepared under hygienic conditions, tested against the agreed specification, and documented with a certificate of analysis and certificate of origin. Where a destination requires extra paperwork — phytosanitary certificates, fumigation records or health certificates — we arrange it as part of the order so clearance at the other end is smooth.
Logistics & Long-Term Partnership
Reliable delivery is what turns a first order into a lasting relationship. We coordinate packing, container loading and shipment from the ports of Mombasa and Dar es Salaam, and keep you updated at each milestone so there are no surprises. Whether you need a single trial container of Sisal Fiber or a scheduled monthly programme, our team structures pricing, payment and delivery around the way your business actually runs.
